IDAHO FALLS (ID) – Ball Ventures announced a new corporate headquarters in Idaho Falls at a groundbreaking ceremony held today. The new 60,000 square foot multi-tenant office building is now under construction at the corner of Snake River Parkway and Event Center Drive in Snake River Landing. The real estate and private equity company continues to add employees and says the new office location will allow for future growth.
Ball Ventures CEO Cortney Liddiard made the announcement of the new corporate headquarters at the ceremony, which included Ball Ventures employees, along with community members, real estate professionals, business partners, contractors and local officials. The company’s Chief Development Officer Eric Isom, and Idaho Falls Mayor Rebecca Casper also spoke at the event. Ball Ventures founder Allen Ball was also in attendance, along with several members of the Ball family.
“I’m so pleased to announce that this office building will be the new home of Ball Ventures. This new home will facilitate our growth. It will energize and inspire the people who make it happen every day; the people who do the hard things, the employees of Ball Ventures,” said Liddiard in remarks to those in attendance.
Ball Ventures will move into the new office upon building completion, which is estimated for the fall of 2020. Remaining space in the building, called The Knolls, is available for lease, with Brent Wilson of Thornton Oliver Keller as the listing agent.
“Snake River Landing would not exist if Allen Ball wouldn’t have had the vision to acquire a huge eye sore this site once was. It was the very definition of blight, as an old gravel pit and was a black eye on one of the regions and Idaho’s best assets - The Snake River,” remarked Liddiard, speaking of the 450 acre development where the groundbreaking took place. “It was through his intuition and vision that Snake River Landing was born. It was his desire to give back to the community that has done so much for him, his family and his business that was the motivation behind it. We are excited to call this new building home and I look forward to the continued growth of our community, our city, Snake River Landing and Ball Ventures.”
The following businesses are involved in the design and construction of the building: Dixon and Associates, Horrocks Engineers, Bradley Engineering, HK Contractors, Okland Construction.
