MEDICAL CENTER ANNOUNCES NEW LOCATION IN SNAKE RIVER LANDING
IDAHO FALLS (ID) – Idaho Eye and Laser Center is pleased to announce plans to move their Idaho Falls Clinic and Ambulatory Surgery Center to Snake River Landing. Earlier this year, the company purchased a 3.2 acre lot along Snake River Parkway, with plans to begin construction on a new 25,000 square foot state-of-the-art ophthalmic medical facility next Spring depending on completion of the design phase which is currently underway.
The Idaho Eye and Laser Center has offered specialized medical eye care services to Southeast Idaho since 1984. The Idaho Eye and Laser Center is dedicated to offering the most progressive ophthalmic treatment and surgical procedures available for your eye care needs.
Craig Bates, Idaho Eye and Laser Center Director states: “We are proud to be the newest entity within the Snake River Landing Complex and are excited for the new facility and architecture that we will be putting in place to serve our current and new patrons/patients for many years to come. We have experienced incredible growth and have outgrown our current facility on 17th Street and find it necessary to upgrade. The new two-story facility will feature full clinical and surgical suites and will also house the centralized administrative functions for all Idaho Eye and Laser Center facilities. The new facility will have additional space planned into the building to allow for new technologies and capabilities as they become available. In this light, a new technologically advanced LASIK Suite will be incorporated as the Idaho Eye and Laser Center is currently the only “on-site fixed laser” center in the region servicing Eastern Idaho, Central Idaho, Southern Idaho, Southern Montana, Western Wyoming and Northern Utah.

The Idaho Eye Center will be the first of its kind within the mixed-use development, further adding to the diversity and population of Snake River Landing. Currently the Idaho Eye and Laser Center employs 82 employees and expects to break 100 once the new facility is open.
