New Greenbelt Development

We begin with major development that local corporations have planned, along the Snake River and Greenbelt.

The falls have been a focal point of the city for years…but this project may give it a run for it’s money.

“We’re very excited about it.”

It’s been five years in the making for Ball Ventures of Idaho Falls…but this new project on Miligian Road near the Pancheri bridge will start construction this summer.

“There will be office space, retail, residential, and restaurants.”

The project is part of the group’s 450 acres bought along the greenbelt…called “snake River Landing.”

“We hope to bring activity and excitement back to downtown.”

This office building marks the first step of this progress…and should be done by the end of the year.

“It’s amazing our greatest assest, the river, has been overlooked and used for industrial uses.”

The city has backed these plans from the beginning but know it’s a major undertaking.

“Roadways which are more pedestrian friendly and landscaping to an extent we have never seen.”

And not be outdone…The city is working on their own project which will start work next spring or summer… on the east side of the snake river..to extend the green belt to South Tourist Park.

“Ride your bike all the way into Freeman Park.”

Although no matter the project, both sides say Idaho Falls be the better for it.

“We believe we are creating something here that will be great for the community and a place to be proud of.”
